Life
Mission Coaching is a fun and empowering short term process,
moving you from the point you are now to where you want to
be. Our work together builds towards a common goal: discovering
and manifesting your mission.
We
engage you in a Socratic dialogue of question and answer,
based on the work you send us. Each session then moves the
process forward. We integrate the "what" (your mission
concerns), and the "how" (your process style), with
behavioral assessment inventories, creative exercises and
dialogues. Our homework assignments build on your preferred
style, while encouraging you to explore your less preferred
ones. This challenges you to expand your resources in ways
you perhaps have overlooked. Occasionally, Sue and I both
work together with the same client, should emotional or therapeutic
issues arise, thereby giving you our combined insight.
Your
role is to send us the results of whatever exercises or projects
we agree on, so that we both have the same material in front
of us for discussion. Our role is to be your mentor, guide,
advisor and motivator, to review your material, and prepare
for each session. We help you keep the faith of your vision,
cheer you on, and show you how to unblock any obstacles to
your path.
It
lasts until your goal is reached. We move at a pace consistent
with your behavioral style and time requirements. Each session
builds on the previous one, until we reach closure. For best
results, sessions should be scheduled twice a month.
Although
our clients come from all walks of life, the typical profile
is a professional, artist or seeker ranging from their mid
30's to their mid to late 50's, usually with 10 years of work/life
experience or more. Our youngest client was 17 and our oldest
in her 70's. No matter what your age or situation, we welcome
your call, because each personal situation is unique and precious.
Our
working materials, in addition to exercises and projects,
are LMA's two books, Fulfill Your Soul's Purpose,
and The Fulfill Your Soul's Purpose Workbook,
plus two assessment tools: The Personal Profile Inventory,
and The Self-Directed Search. Both serve as a verification
and a validation of our work.These materials will be sent
to you upon receipt of your check for $60.00 (CA residents
add 7.25% sales tax). If you already have any of the above
materials, this amount will be prorated.
We
agree on an appointment time, and tell you the assignments
or other material we want you to send prior to the first session.
At that time, you call us at 805/640-9118, and our session
begins. It's that simple!
